You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come to The Shift because they're feeling overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or tired of wondering if they're doing life "the right way." Others are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply want a space to better understand themselves.
Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, gain clarity, build practical tools, and create meaningful change that reflects your values instead of everyone else's expectations.

Therapy at The Shift is more than a place to vent. While processing your experiences is an important part of therapy, we don't stop there. Together, we'll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself, challenge assumptions that may no longer serve you, and develop practical tools you can apply in your everyday life.
My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and action-oriented. You'll find a balance of support, accountability, psychoeducation, and honest conversation designed to help you move from insight to meaningful action.

Many of my clients describe feeling like they're constantly trying to "get life right." They overthink decisions, compare themselves to others, struggle to set boundaries, put everyone else's needs before their own, or feel like they should be further along than they are. Some are navigating anxiety, burnout, identity, relationships, or major life transitions. Others simply know something needs to change but aren't sure where to begin.
If you're looking for a therapist who will help you better understand yourself while also challenging you to put that understanding into action, we may be a good fit.
