Shifting After Loss:
A Grief Support Group
Honoring your loved one while rebuilding yourself.
Grief is personal, sacred, and often life-altering.
Shifting After Loss was created to support individuals navigating the death of a loved one, offering space to honor your person, understand your grief, and find your footing again in a world that now looks and feels different.
This group exists because grief does not end when the service concludes. Loss continues to unfold long after families return home, often without space or support to process what comes next.
Having grown up in a funeral home and now serving families as both a licensed funeral director and a mental health therapist with a Grief Counseling Training Certificate, I have witnessed firsthand how deeply grief reshapes individuals, families, and communities. This group was created to bridge those worlds—offering clinically informed support grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and a lifelong understanding of the grieving process.
